What 2.0 Means

At some point in time, the internet was a network of information, basically.  You had to know the specific address of a website to use it, and that website was probably nothing more than just text, links, and even a photo if you got lucky.  But search engines (like Google) have changed the way we find what's on the web, and the competition got tough.  Websites that had great information were placed first in search results.  So the web evolved.  It stopped being about learning things, and started being about doing things.  The following video uses the term "Web App," but it can also be referred to as "Web 2.0 (tools)"
